I ran across an article in Medium that draws interesting parallels between Taylorism and modern Agile Scrum.

  • Use story points like quotas

  • Use grooming to micromanage developer workflows

  • Lock the developers out of production with vague references to some compliance standard

If you are a good manager, trust your developers and build DevOps teams, and go beyond agile.
